How much does rubbish removal cost?
We price by how much space your waste takes up on the truck, and the price already includes our labour, the transport and the disposal fee. A few bags costs a lot less than a full house clearance. Call us with a rough idea of what you have and we will give you a price there and then.
Do I need to be there when you collect?
Not always. If the waste is somewhere we can get to safely, such as a front garden, a yard or an unlocked garage, we can often collect while you are out. We will agree it with you beforehand and let you know once the job is done.
Do I have to move everything outside first?
No. That is what you are paying us for. We will carry it out from wherever it is, including upstairs rooms, lofts and back gardens. Just tell us where it is when you book so we bring the right kit.
How quickly can you come out?
It depends how busy the week is, but because we are local we can often fit smaller jobs in at short notice. Give us a call and we will tell you honestly what we can do.
Is it cheaper than hiring a skip?
For most jobs, yes, because you only pay for the space you actually use rather than for a whole container. You also avoid skip permits if you have no driveway, and you do not have to load it yourself. For a long renovation where you are filling it over several weeks, a skip may work out better, and we will say so if that is the case.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We are registered as a waste carrier and we carry insurance. We are happy to show you both before you book. Always ask any waste company for this, because if your waste is fly tipped it can be traced back to you.
What happens to my waste after you take it?
It goes to a licensed transfer station or recycling facility. We separate out what can be recycled and dispose of the rest properly. Businesses get a waste transfer note for their records.
Do you clear commercial premises?
Yes. Offices, shops, warehouses and industrial units. We can work outside your normal hours if it is easier, and we provide the waste transfer documentation you need for your duty of care.
Is there anything you cannot take?
Asbestos, clinical or medical waste, hazardous chemicals and fuels, gas bottles and anything explosive. These need a specialist carrier with the right licence. Everything else, just ask.
What areas do you cover?
Hull and the surrounding East Yorkshire towns and villages, including Beverley, Cottingham, Hessle, Hedon, Brough and Withernsea. If you are a bit further out, call us anyway, we often travel for larger jobs.
